Music, conflict and conciliation: rethinking some postcolonial approaches through the case of music in Goa

Abstract

This text is an attempt to understand Goa through music. In this sense, I propose to make a journey through the way as different musics were used to connect people in colonial and postcolonial times, based on the analyses of conflict and conciliation processes established by political and aesthetic agreements.
