Macrodesign: relacionamento humano com os objectos no início do século XXI

Abstract

O que caracteriza o relacionamento humano com os objectos no início do século XXI? Para se entender o Relacionamento humano com os objectos no início do século XXI foi necessário uma investigação aos contextos pré-industrial, industrial e pós-industrial, que deram origem a formas específicas de relacionamento humano com os objectos. Durante este estudo ficou evidente a necessidade de nos concentrarmos nas características funcionais dos contextos determinantes da actividade de design. Concluiu-se que desde o início do período pós-industrial, assiste-se à proliferação dos produtos dinâmicos. Produtos esses que apontam para uma nova atitude projectual, para um design relacionado com a oferta de actividades e serviços e já não apenas com a oferta de objectos avulsos, característicos da sociedade industrial.

What characterizes the human relationship with objects in beginning of the twenty first century? To understand the human relationship with objects in the beginning of the twenty first century we researched the human relationship with objects throughout different periods: pre-industrial; industrial and pos-industrial periods. During this study became clear that it would be appropriate to focus on the functional characteristics of the contexts that affected design activity. We concluded that since the beginning of the pos-industrial period, dynamic products have been consistently emerging and therefore showing new paths for project in design. A projectual attitude that centers in the designing of complete activities and services instead of focusing on the offer of isolated objects typical of the industrial society.
