Patrimônio rural: medidas de salvaguarda dos celeiros elevados de Portugal e do Brasil

Abstract

Os espigueiros ou canastros são estruturas de armazenamento de cereais representativas do Património rural, marcos no território ligados à produção agrícola. O presente estudo aborda a inventariação realizada na Região Centro de Portugal e o impacto que as alterações demográficas podem ter em relação ao objetivo de proteger e classificar estas estruturas de celeiros elevados. Realizou-se igualmente uma abordagem comparativa destes com os brasileiros, compreendendo desta forma ligações culturais e societais comuns.

The granaries or canastros are structures for storing cereals, representative of rural heritage, landmarks in the territory linked to agricultural production. The present study addresses the inventory carried out in the central region of Portugal and the impact that demographic changes may have in relation to the objective of protecting and classifying these structures of elevated granaries. A comparative approach was also carried out between them and Brazilians similar structures, thus understanding common cultural and societal links.
