The main goal of the this work is to present the dynamic book “A Função Exponencial” that was prepared for the teaching of this topic in secondary education using the flipped classroom method. The book consist of a sequence of activities that explores the basic concepts of this topic. The book and its activities were designed by using the GeoGebra software and it is available on the GeoGebra platform. The flipped classroom is organised by two moments, one before the face-to-face class in which students had previously studied the contents provided by the teacher and the face-to-face class itself where practical activities, such as problem-solving are carried out. The use of the material produced took place in the pre-class stage and it became available to students through the GeoGebra Classroom, a tool which allows the teacher to monitor the development of the students' work even at distance. The results obtained with the application of this set of activities in the perspective of the flipped classroom were quite positive and has shown that this is the way to go forward. |
