Resumo: Invisible World is a Brazilian film of 2011. Conceived by Leon Cakoff and Renata de Almeida, addresses the issue of social invisibility. Divided into eleven segments, each directed by a different director, except for the short film “Kreuko”, directed by Beto Brant and Cisco Vasques, the film was first shown in full version at the 36th International Film Festival of São Paulo. The film is controversial in the way it reflects and treats a subject as sensitive as it is the social invisibility. In a country like Brazil, but also worldwide, there are several ways that contribute to this invisibility, and it is notorious the deep and sensitive way it is crafted in “Being transparent” or “Kreuko”, two of his short films. The variability of expressions and content becomes an issue of reflection for us. This reflection will focus on formal coherence, expressivity and artistic issues. Manoel de Oliveira contributes as director on the short film “From the visible to the invisible”. To build a movie composed of 11 short films, made on a thematic, which generally addresses the social invisibility, but in particular, it is specified in many particulars, we intend to reflect on the problem of form. We also want to reflect on the process of determining each component / short film, on the whole, and how the creation of the part, contributes to the determination of the whole.
