Estágio na Fábrica das Palavras: gestão de projetos e tradução jurídica

Abstract

O presente relatório tem como objetivo descrever o funcionamento do gabinete de tradução Fábrica das Palavras e as atividades realizadas ao longo do estágio. Também se pretende desenvolver uma reflexão crítica sobre as traduções jurídicas realizadas ao longo do estágio, em francês, tendo em conta todo o suporte teórico existente sobre tradução jurídica. É necessário conhecer os diferentes tipos de textos jurídicos, os problemas que surgem durante a realização de uma tradução jurídica e os métodos que existem para os resolver. Abordar-se-á, igualmente, a importância da certificação e da Apostilha de Haia.

This report aims to describe Fábrica das Palavras’ company operation and the activities preformed while on the academic training. Considering all the existing theoretical support on legal translation, critical reflection of French translations carried out during the academic training will be developed. The typology of legal texts, the problems of legal translation and the strategies to solve them will be described, as well as the importance of certification and The Hague Apostille.
