Histórias por desvendar : série de animação televisiva co-construída com crianças dos 8 aos 9 anos

Abstract

A dissertação que se apresenta centra-se na área da produção e realização de uma série de animação televisiva dirigida ao público infantojuvenil. O pensar e desenhar para as crianças foi ultrapassado pelo propósito de pensar e desenhar com elas. A programação televisiva infanto-juvenil e um conjunto de livros de autores portugueses, integrados no programa Ler+, do Ministério da Educação foram o ponto de partida para a dinamização da co-participação de um total de 38 crianças de 8-9 anos, organizados em duas classes com os seus 4 professores, do 3º ano do 1º ciclo do ensino básico, a frequentar a Cooperativa de Educação e Ensino “A Torre” de Lisboa. Deste modo, conversar e debater em grupo sobre a experiência das crianças, alvo do estudo, permitiu, não só, saber o que leem, saber o que veem da televisão, conhecer o que pensam do que leem e veem, conhecer os seus interesses, motivações, o que sugerem e desenvolver competências de literacia. O protótipo do 1º episódio - A Fada Oriana – de Sophia de Mello Breyner, da série “Histórias por desvendar “ incorpora o processo e os resultados das convivências com as crianças. Neste contexto, também, foram aprofundadas diferentes técnicas de animação em 2D, com base na técnica de cut-out animation.

The dissertation presented here focuses on the production of an animated serie for television addressed to the public of children and youth. The thinking and drawing for children was overtaken by the purpose of thinking and drawing with them. The television scheduling for children and a set of books by Portuguese authors, integrated into the program Ler+, of the Ministry of Education are the starting point for the dynamics of the co-participation of a total of 38 children aged 8-9 years, organized in two classes with their 4 teachers, the 3rd year of the 1st cycle of basic education, attending the Cooperative of education and teaching “A Torre” in Lisbon. Thus, talk and discuss in groups about the experience of children, this study’s target, permitted, not only know what they read, learn what they see on television, know what they think of what they read and see, know their interests, motivations, suggestions and develop literacy skills. The prototype of the 1st episode - A fada Oriana - of Sophia de Mello Breyner, from the series "Histórias por desvendar" incorporates the process and outcomes of cohabitation with children. In this context, it were also deepened different animation techniques in 2D, based on the technique of cut-out animation.
