Resumo: | This deliverable reports the signal adaptation and control procedures required to configure the custom designed sensor board. This sensor board was designed under the framework of work package 7, targeting LITES project sensing objectives. The sensor board integrates different sensing technologies for temperature, motion detection and ambient light level sensing. These are considered as operational variables which are required to implement the energy saving measures of the LITES project. Additional LED temperature and power consumption, are seen as monitoring variables and required only to ensure LED lifetime and the overall energy efficiency of the lighting unit. These variables are monitored and controlled on different hardware modules and are not the focus of this document. The operational variables are tightly related to the environment that surrounds the lighting infrastructure, including street usage and the profile of the natural ambient light. Thus, operational variables depend on both geographical and demographic aspects of local lighting installation. In order to mitigate the impact of these aspects on system performance, special purpose adaptation procedures need to be performed. In this document two different solutions are presented, along with their respective configuration methods. The first solution is related to the custom sensor board developed in the initial part of the project while the second solution relates to the commercially available corridor FUNCTION. |
