Aplicação do modelo de Osterwalder em situações de inovação social

Abstract

O principal objetivo desta investigação prende-se com a caracterização de duas instituições socialmente inovadoras, as Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social, tendo presente o Modelo de Negócio de Osterwalder (2004). Com vista a dar resposta ao presente objetivo procedeu-se a uma revisão da literatura com o propósito de mapear o modelo de negócio que caracteriza-se as IPSS’s. Os principais responsáveis de cada estudo de caso foram entrevistados, e os dados obtidos foram analisados de forma comparativa. Como as realidades das instituições analisadas são diferentes, verificam-se diferenças significativas em cada modelo de negócio apresentado. Contudo verifica-se que cada modelo de negócio apresenta características socialmente inovadoras.

The main goal of this research is to characterize two social innovation institutions, like as social solidarity particulars institutions, using the business model ontology of Osterwalder (2004). To achieve that, the research goes through a literature review to map the business context that will apply to the social solidarity private institutions. Interviews were performed with key responsible from the analyzed cases: Data collected was analyzed and results contrasted. Because the realities in the two institutions that were studied were sensibly different, the resulting business models show significant differences between them. However, each business model studied presents specific social innovation characteristics worth taking into account in other studies.
