In secondary school students are expected to develope and acquire a scientific literacy which makes them informed citizens, active and capable not only to discuss, but also contribute to the finding of solutions to the problems found in the world today. It is well known that students have difficulties in the learning of maths and therefore, they also show a negative approach to the chemical and physics subject. This dissertation comes from the contribution given to help students to relate all that they have learned in chemical physics and maths, and therefore improving the curriculum knowledge between the two subjects. This study is based on the contents of Trigonometry and Communications within a close range, the first one on maths and the second of chemical and physics which is included in the 11th grade scholar year. We start by emphasing the role of sine and cosine as working tools to use in chemical and physics, and through it´s physical phenomena´s establish the mathematical modelling. This way we present a contribution to identify some vowels, using the voice through the design of Lissajous figures. |
