Léah et une autre histoire: notas sobre uma tradução do conto migueisiano

Abstract

Neste texto, pretendemos debruçar-nos sobre a tradução de Marie Claire Vromans do conto migueisiano «Léah». Partimos, pois, de uma análise do texto de partida para tecer alguns comentários relativamente ao texto de chegada e a algumas negociações tradutivas.

In this text we intend to provlde some criticai reflections on Marie Claire Vromans' translation of Miguéis' short story, «Léah». We have therefore analysed the source text in order to appraise some of the translational negotiations which have been identified in the target text.
