Estudo de validade da versão portuguesa do Questionário de Formas de Lidar com o Cancro

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver e avaliar as propriedades psicométricas da versão Portuguesa do Cancer Coping Questionnaire (CCQ). A amostra de conveniência inclui 189 doentes de cancro da mama, que preencheram as seguintes escalas, para além da CCQ: Courtauld Emotional Control Scale (CEC); a Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) e o European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire com o Supplementary Questionnaire Breast Cancer Module (EORTC QLQ-C30 e BR-23). O procedimento incluiu: tradução; retroversão; grupo de discussão para inspeção de equivalência lexical e de validade de conteúdo; aplicação à população alvo, seguida de nova aplicação. A validação portuguesa do CCQ apresenta boas propriedades psicométricas de consistência interna e teste-reteste.

This study aims to develop and evaluate the psychometric properties of the Portuguese version of the Cancer Coping Questionnaire (CCQ). The convenience sample included 189 breast cancer patients, who fulfi ll the following measures, beyond CCQ: Courtauld Emotional Control Scale (CEC); Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire and the Supplementary Questionnaire Breast Cancer Module (EORTC QLQ-C30 e BR-23). The procedure enclose: translation; back translation; discussion group for inspection of lexical equivalence and content validity; application to a target population, followed by a second fulfi ll. The validation of the Portuguese CCQ has good psychometric proprieties of internal consistency and test-retest reliability.
