Medidas de eficiência energética e implementação de energias renováveis em contexto empresarial

Abstract

Este trabalho consiste no estudo energético de duas fábricas que se dedicam ao trabalho de peças metálicas, situadas em Águeda e Albergaria-a-Velha. O principal processo é a galvanoplastia, onde se faz o banho de peças metálicas. Para a realização deste processo é preciso ter os banhos a temperaturas elevadas e, atualmente, o aquecimento destes é feito por resistências elétricas. As resistências apresentam um consumo de eletricidade muito elevado, representando um elevado custo à empresa. Ao longo deste estudo, foram analisadas outras alternativas para produzir calor de forma mais eficiente, permitindo à empresa obter uma poupança no consumo de energia. As alternativas estudadas foram a bomba de calor, os painéis solares térmicos e fotovoltaicos, a caldeira a biomassa e a gás natural. Ao longo deste trabalho será feito o enquadramento do tema, a apresentação da fábrica e do processo produtivo, a situação atual da fábrica em termos de consumo energético, o estudo das alternativas que contribuam para o aumento da eficiência energética na empresa e, por fim, serão apresentadas as melhores soluções.

This work consists of the energetic study of two factories dedicated to the work of metallic parts, located in Águeda and Albergaria-a-Velha. The main process is electroplating, where metal parts are bathed. To carry out this process it is necessary to have the baths at high temperatures and, currently, their heating is done by electrical resistances. The electrical heaters have a very high electricity consumption, representing a high cost to the company. Throughout this study, other alternatives to produce heat more efficiently, were analyzed, allowing the company to obtain savings in energy consumption. The alternatives studied were the heat pump, the thermal and photovoltaic solar panels, the biomass, and natural gas boiler. Throughout this work, the theme will be framed, a presentation of the factory and the production process, the current situation of the factory in terms of energy consumption, the study of alternatives that contribute to increased energy efficiency in the company and, finally, will be certified as best solutions.
