Seleção do modo verbal nas orações completivas: um estudo de caso em Português Língua Estrangeira

Abstract

Ao entrar em contato com a língua portuguesa, os alunos chineses são confrontados com diversas dificuldades, tanto de ordem fonética como morfossintática, passando, neste último caso, por etapas problemáticas na sua interlíngua, como o domínio dos mecanismos de concordância ou de seleção de tempos e modos verbais. Este projeto de pesquisa incide precisamente sobre uma análise contrastiva da seleção do modo verbal nas orações completivas em Português Língua Estrangeira por parte de falantes nativos de Chinês. Começamos por apresentar as noções básicas relacionadas com modos verbais e orações completivas e a questão central da seleção dos modos verbais nas completivas em Português, e, de seguida, deixamos um breve quadro relacionado com os conceitos de Interferência, interlíngua, língua nativa/estrangeira, etc., assim como uma proposta de análise contrastiva das completivas em Português e Chinês. É depois apresentado um inquérito feito a alunos chineses sobre a aquisição da sintaxe das orações completivas em PLE, e procura-se identificar, com base nos resultados desse inquérito, as principais interferências relacionadas com a morfossintaxe das orações completivas na interlíngua Português/Chinês. As principais conclusões deste estudo são as seguintes：1. A maioria dos aprendentes de PLE não domina de forma adequada a sintaxe das orações completivas, devido a questões de interferência morfossintática entre as duas línguas em contacto. 2. Os erros de conjugação, mas não os erros de seleção de modos verbais, são erros "intralinguísticos". 3. A seleção do modo verbal é a dificuldade central na aquisição da sintaxe das orações completivas na interlíngua Português/Chinês

When contacting the Portuguese language, Chinese students are faced with various difficulties, both phonetic and morphosyntactic, going, in the latter case, through problems such as the application of mechanisms of agreement or the selection of verbal tenses and modes in their interlanguage. This research project focuses precisely on a contrasting analysis of the selection of verbal mode in subordinate noun clauses in Portuguese as a Foreign Language by native Chinese speakers. We begin by presenting the basics related to verbal modes and noun clauses and the central question of the selection of verbal modes in the Portuguese noun clauses and then we leave a brief picture related to the concepts of Interference, interlanguage, native/foreign language, etc., as well as a proposal of contrastive analysis of the noun clauses in Portuguese and Chinese. A survey to Chinese students on the syntax of noun clauses in PFL is then presented, and, based on the results of this survey, we seek to identify the main interferences related to the morphosyntax of this type of subordinate clauses in the Portuguese/Chinese interlanguage. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. Most PFL learners do not adequately master the syntax of noun clauses, due to issues of morphosyntactic interference between the two languages in contact. 2. Conjugation errors, but not errors in the selection of verbal modes, are in fact "intralinguistic" ones. 3. The selection of the verbal mode is the central difficulty in the acquisition of subordinate noun clauses syntax in the Portuguese/Chinese interlanguage
