Estágio na empresa Mota-Engil Perú S.A.: projeto geotécnico e formulação de misturas com betume espuma

Abstract

O presente relatório tem como propósito apresentar o estágio curricular realizado ao longo de 6 meses para a obtenção do grau Mestre em Engenharia Civil pela universidade de Aveiro. O estágio curricular foi realizado na empresa MEP – Mota-Engil Perú S.A e teve como principal tema a implementação de projetos geotécnicos e a formulação de misturas com betume-espuma. Após uma contextualização e apresentação das motivações para a realização deste estágio, o presente relatório apresenta os três temas com maior relevância para o mesmo. O primeiro tema diz respeito a um projeto geotécnico, sendo abordadas todas as fases de dimensionamento de muros de contenção e a sua integração no software Plaxis. O segundo tema consiste num projeto estrutural em que são estudadas duas soluções para a construção de um muro ancorado. Por fim, no ultimo tema é apresentado um estudo de formulação de misturas com betume-espuma, com o objetivo de demonstrar as suas potencialidades de estabilização para as camadas base dos pavimentos. Para além de todos os conhecimentos obtidos associados aos projetos realizados ao longo do estágio, este possibilitou a perceção do funcionamento de uma empresa, assim como a preparação para uma futura inserção no mercado de trabalho.

The present report aims to present the curricular internship done for a period of 6 months in order to obtain the Civil Engineering Master’s Degree issued by University of Aveiro. The curricular internship was done at MEP – Mota-Engil Perú S.A. and its main goal was the conception of geotechnical projects as well as the formulation of foamed bitumen mixes. After a brief contextualization and the presentation of the motivations behind the internship, the three most relevant themes of the document are presented. The first theme concerns a geotechnical project, in which all the phases of the scaling of retaining walls are described as well as their integration in Plaxis software. The second theme consists of a structural project in which two solutions for the construction of an anchored wall are presented. Finally, the last theme is a study of foamed bitumen mixes and the verification of their benefits in the stabilization of the materials in pavements’ base-layers. In addition to all the knowledge acquired during the development of all the projects, this internship allowed me to better understand how a company works and helped to prepare for the future integration in the work market.
