Abstract

A presente dissertação tem como título: O uso das preposições a, de, em, por e para em verbos de movimento em alunos da 12.ª classe. No trabalho, procura-se provar que a regência, em verbos de movimento direcionais, no Português emergente em Moçambique, possui uma grelha de regência diferente daquela que é exibida pelo Português Europeu que, neste caso, funciona com padrão em Moçambique. O objetivo Geral do estudo é descrever o uso das preposições a, de, em, por e para pelos alunos da 12.ª classe da Escola Secundária de Nampula. Os resultados do estudo demonstram que grande parte dos verbos de movimento direcionais selecionam a preposição em, em contextos em que deveriam ocorrer as preposições a, para e por.

The present dissertation with the title: The use of the prepositions “a”, “de”, “em”, “por” and “para” in verbs of motion in 12th grade students. In this dissertation, we seek to prove that the valence in verbs of directional movement, in emergent Portuguese, in Mozambique, has a different valency grid from that displayed by European Portuguese, which in this case, constitutes the standard in Mozambique. The general objective of the study is to describe the use of prepositions a (to), de (from/of), em (in), por (by) and para (to) produced by students of the 12th grade of Nampula High School. The results of the study demonstrate that the majority of directional motion verbs select the preposition em (in), in contexts in which the prepositions para (to) and por (by) should occur.
