The accelerated development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has been going on since the mid-twentieth century, but it is in the first decade of this century with the intensification of mobile technologies, like the portable smartphones, tablets and netebooks that new configurations of space, time and place will emerge. In this sense, the word mobility has been used frequently in recent times for different areas of knowledge. Thus, both in the classroom and the hallways, on the court, auditorium or cafeteria are configured also as places of learning, with opportunities for connection to other places and other people. In Brazil and Portugal, the "one to one" presupposes a substantial advance in the policies of integration of technology in education. In Brazil, with Prouca, as in Portugal, with 2.0 e.escola, these programs aim to improve educational outcomes, sociotechnical develop the skills required by the market with the consolidation of supply chain business and reaffirm the need for schools to incorporate ICT as part of “inclusive strategies, holistic and comprehensive.” This paper reflects on the mobility enhanced by mobile digital devices through the program “One on One” deployed in Brazil and Portugal. |
