O corpo na arte: redimensionamento e incorporação no séc. XX

Abstract

A representação do corpo humano, sempre fez parte da história da arte e continua a ser uma das questões na arte. Uma das características da nossa era é a explicitação da promiscuidade entre o humano e a máquina. Assim sendo, interessou-me identificar, que redimensionamentos e incorporações surgiram na arte e na sociedade no século XX, relativamente ao corpo (humano). Baseada na ideia de um corpo contemporâneo metamorfoseado e híbrido, tentou-se dissertar sobre o que se fez e o que se tem assistido relativamente ao lugar do corpo na arte e na sociedade. O desenvolvimento da investigação foi enriquecido com um corpo de trabalho assente numa prática artística que envolveu três linguagens artísticas: a fotografia, video arte e instalação.

ABSTRACT: The representation of the human body has always been part of the art history and continuous to be one of the issues in contemporary art. One of the characteristics of our era is the explanation of promiscuity between human and machine. Therefore, it interested me to, what scaling and incorporations appeared in art and in the society of 20 century relatively to the body. Based on the idea of a metamorphosed and hybridized contemporary body, we tried to speak about what had been done and what have we been watching relatively to place the body in art and in the society. The development of research has been enriched with a body of work based on an artistic practice, involving three languages of art: photography, video art, and installation.
