Música e pintura : interinfluências na primeira metade do século XX

Abstract

O objectivo deste trabalho consiste em mostrar como, durante a primeira metade do século XX, houve uma forte interinfluência entre a música e a pintura e em reflectir sobre o modo como o sonho antigo de aproximação das duas artes, através da procura de analogias, de estabelecimento de equivalências entre o acústico e o visual, levou a uma convergência de tal maneira íntima entre si que o desfecho foi uma amálgama de categorias, um dialogo inédito entre os registos estéticos e, mais importante ainda, o nascimento de novas disciplinas artísticas.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to show how, in the first half of the 20th century, there was a strong interinfluence between music and painting and to think how the old goal of bringing together the two arts by seeking their analogies and establishing a bridge between sound and image led to such an intimate convergence that ends on an amalgam of categories, an unusual dialogue between aesthetic languages and, above all, the birth of new artistic disciplines
