Implementação de corredores verdes aplicado ao turismo sustentável

Abstract

Este trabalho surge no âmbito na necessidade de estudar e de aliar o desenvolvimento do turismo à conservação da natureza e ao desenvolvimento de mecanismos de prevenção e preservação da natureza e dos habitats. O objetivo principal deste trabalho foi o estudo da possibilidade de implementação de uma rede de corredores verdes que promovam o turismo sustentável na zona da Ria de Aveiro. A metodologia usada para este trabalho passou pela identificação dos principais pontos de interesse turístico, analisando estudos sobre os cais existentes, averiguando as potencialidades de cada um para a promoção do turismo nesta área. Após o findar deste estudo, é possível concluir que a implementação de corredores verdes não pode ser transversal a todos os cais com características semelhantes, uma vez que nem todos apresentam boas acessibilidades terrestres ou fluviais. Posto isto, foi necessário escolher alguns cais onde a implementação de corredores verdes é viável. No que diz respeito ao Desporto, Recreio e Lazer, verificou-se que seria possível fazer a ligação entre o Cais do Bico e o Cais do Chegado através da implementação de um corredor do tipo recreativo. A ligação entre o Cais da Tabuada e o Cais do Nacinho, pode ser feita através de um corredor fluvial, uma vez que este aparece ao longo de um curso de água sendo possível o aproveitamento da vegetação e os recursos circundantes. A ligação entre o Cais do Chegado e o Cais da Cambeia pode ser feita através de um corredor recreativo, sendo este definido ao longo de linhas de água e têm como função promover a observação de aves.

This work arises in order to study and combine tourism development with nature conservation and the development of mechanisms for prevention and preservation of nature and habitats. The main objective of this work was to study the possibility of implementing a network of greenways that promote a sustainable tourism in the area of Ria de Aveiro. The methodology used for this study involved the identification of the main tourist attractions, analyzing studies of the existing wharfs, checking the potential of each one to the promotion of tourism in this area. After the end of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of greenways cannot be transverse to all wharfs with similar characteristics, since not all have good accessibility by land or inland waterway. Having said that, it was necessary to choose some wharfs where the implementation of greenways is feasible. With regard to sport, recreation and leisure, it was found that it would be possible to make the connection between Cais do Bico and Cais do Chegado through the implementation of a recreational greenway. The connection between the Cais da Tabuada and the Cais do Nacinho, can be made through a riverside greenway, since this appears over a watercourse being possible exploitation of the vegetation and the surrounding resources. The connection between Cais do Chegado and the Cais da Cambeia, can be made through a recreational greenway, this being defined along lines of water and have to promote birdwatching.
