A custódia do território e sua aplicabilidade na "Ria" de Aveiro

Abstract

Neste trabalho, é estudado o enquadramento internacional das iniciativas de custódia do território e a sua aplicabilidade em Portugal no caso específico da “Ria” de Aveiro, para um habitat de conservação especial tendo em conta a Diretiva habitats e com alguma representação no sistema lagunar na “Ria”. Este trabalho insere-se no tópico da custódia do território que se baseia na conservação de espaços e áreas do território de âmbito privado, tendo como principal objetivo o estabelecimento de acordos com os proprietários e a sua sensibilização para a conservação e proteção desses valores. No futuro, na “Ria” de Aveiro, este poderá ser um instrumento de gestão territorial importante para interligar os diferentes atores do território.

In this work, it is studied the international framing of the initiatives of the land trust and its applicability in Portugal, especially in Aveiro’s “Ria”, for a special conservation habitat taking into account the habitats directive and with some representation of the lagoon system in “Ria”. This work is within the topic of land trust that is based on the conservation of spaces and areas of private territory having as main basis the establishment of agreements with the owners of the territory and to make them aware to the needs of conservation and protection of those values. In the future, in Aveiro’s “Ria”, this can be an important instrument of land management for the connection of the different actors of the territory.
