Erotismo e natureza: Montedemo, Bastardia e Doroteia de Hélia Correia

Abstract

Neste trabalho, partimos de uma leitura comparativa – selecionando, para o efeito, três obras, Montedemo, Bastardia e Doroteia, de Hélia Correia –, tendo como base a poética do erotismo associado à natureza. Efetuamos uma retrospetiva das narrativas realistas-naturalistas produzidas na segunda metade do século XIX. Pendemo-nos sobre um conjunto significativo de obras de vários autores, portugueses e franceses, desse século, para melhor compreendermos a evolução das narrativas dos séculos XX e XXI. Debruçamo-nos sobre a representação do erotismo feminino nos realistas-naturalistas. Na segunda parte do nosso trabalho, abordamos nomes de autores femininos de relevo do início ao fim do século XX, mas debruçamo-nos, particularmente, sobre os anos oitenta e Hélia Correia. Na terceira parte do nosso trabalho, analisamos as obras Montedemo, Bastardia e Doroteia à luz da figura erótica feminina e da sua envolvência com a natureza.

In this work, we start from a comparative reading - selecting for this purpose, three works, Montedemo, Bastardia and Doroteia, of Hélia Correia -, having as basis a poetic of eroticism connected to nature. We carry out a retrospective of the narratives produced in the second half of the nineteenth century. We focus on a significant number of works of several authors, portuguese and french, from that century, in order to better understand the narratives of the XX and XXI centuries. We study some theoretical concepts of the realists - naturalists associated with the representative concepts of eroticism and desire - the woman -. We analyse, in the second part of our work, names of the portuguese literature, especially female names, from the beginning till the end of the twentieth century but we study, in particular, the eighties and Hélia Correia. In the third section of our work, we analyse the works Montedemo, Bastardia and Doroteia, on the perspective of erotic female figure and her involvement with nature.
