Abstract: | O presente estudo analisa a influência do valor percebido, do brand equity e do
nomeadamente, a análise fatorial exploratória, a regressão linear múltipla e o
teste-t.
The present study analyzes the perceived value, the brand equity and the relationship equity in the (re)purchasing intention. A conceptual model was developed to examine the determinants and the consequents of three constructs in the comsumption of Terra Nostra sliced cheese. To evaluate this model multiple statistical techniques were used, nomely explaratory factorial analysis, multiple linear regressions and the T-tests. The results indicate that there are no significant statistical differences in the ethnocentrism between the azoreans and mainland residents, in Portugal. Equally, it can be concluded that the azoreans and the continental Portuguese display statistically significant diferences only in brand perceived sacrífice and brand loyalty. Based on a questionnaire with a sample of 849 individuals, composed by 375 azoreans and 474 continental portuguese, this study shows that perceived value, brand equity and relationship equity are important to determine the (re)purchase intention of Terra Nostra sliced cheese. One can also conclude that there are subtle diferences in the dimensions of the main variables analyzed between the azoreans and continental portuguese in the consumption of the Terra Nostra sliced cheese. Finally, there are statistically significant diferences between who buys the brand and who does not buy the brand for all variables analyzed. |
