Handmaid’s Tale (1985) e The Blind Assassin (2000).
sociedade e as mulheres têm sobre si mesmas. Margaret Atwood is a writer with a long carer and a particular vision concerning women and Canada. Nationalism, post-colonialism and feminism are issues in Surfacing (1972), The Handmaid’s Tale (1985) and The Blind Assassin (2000). This thesis intends to demonstrate how Atwood deals and develops these issues in the different novels and in which way do they affect and influence the vision that the society and women have about themselves. |
