Ferramentas estatísticas aplicadas à melhoria da qualidade dos fornos de vapor

Abstract

No presente estudo analisa-se a variabilidade na produção dos fornos de vapor da Teka Portugal e potenciais causas para a existência de fuga de vapor de água nos fornos de vapor. Para tal, recorre-se primeiramente a técnicas da estatística descritiva; da inferência estatística, nomeadamente testes de hipóteses; e de algumas ferramentas básicas da qualidade, como gráficos e histogramas, de forma a organizar e simplificar os dados e identificar as possíveis causas e componentes críticos, que têm induzido às falhas de fugas de vapor de água e o problema do aspecto estético do forno. Seguidamente recorre-se a técnicas da estatística multivariada, como a análise de variância e análise factorial com o objectivo de encontrar pontos da porta e frente do forno potencialmente críticas e reduzir os pontos a medir. Foram detectadas algumas irregularidades em componentes que interferem na planidade.

ABSTRACT: In this study the variability on the production of steam ovens by Teka Portugal and potential causes for the existence of steam leaks in these ovens are analyzed. For that, techniques of descriptive statistics; statistical inference, namely hypothesis tests; and some basic quality tools, such as graphics and histograms in order to organize and simplify data and identify possible causes and critical components, which have induced to failures of steam leaks and the problem of the oven aesthetic aspect. Next, other techniques of multivariate statistics such as the variance analysis and factor analysis were used, with the aim to find points on the door and front of the oven that can be potentially critical and reduce the points to measure. Some irregularities were identified on components that interfere in the planity.
