Sucessões e isometrias rítmicas em Anton Webern

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objectivo demonstrar a aplicabilidade das sucessões matemáticas e das isometrias geométricas, quer na análise rítmica da obra de Anton Webern, quer na composição musical. Esta dissertação é constituída por duas partes –uma de carácter teórico e outra de carácter prático. Na parte teórica a nossa investigação vai compreender três estudos: um estudo sobre a estruturação das durações; outro sobre as sucessões matemáticas aplicadas à sucessão dos valores rítmicos; e por fim, um estudo sobre as isometrias rítmicas. Na parte prática será elaborada uma peça musical, ou seja, um concerto para marimba e orquestra de cordas que se intitula Reflexos. Aqui serão aplicados os princípios teóricos estudados na primeira parte.

The present work has as objective demonstrated the applicability of the mathematics successions and the geometricals isometrics, in the rhythmic analysis of the Anton Webern work and in the musical composition. This dissertation is constituted by two parts – one with theoric character and the other with practical character. In the theoretics our investigation goes to comprehend three studies: one study about the structure of the durations; another about the diligent mathematics in the successions of rhythmics values; and in the end a study about the isometrics rhythmics. In the practical part will be elaborated a musical piece, or mean a concert for marimba and stings orchestra entitle REFLEXOS. Here will be diligents the theoric rudiments studied in the first part.
