Abstract: | É objetivo estudar e avaliar o comportamento de argamassas à base de
e cantaria. The aim of this thesis is to study and evaluate the behaviour of mortars based on air binders for the repair of old buildings with tiled façades. Specimens are made recreating traditional systems from Ovar and these are subject of ageing cycles in a climatic chamber. These systems were subjected to hydrothermal – stress and main mechanical characteristics of the tested samples were determined. The data obtained indicates behavioural tendencies of the mortars studied during different ages and enables the understanding of compatibility interactions between the respective brick, mortar, tile and masonry. |
