Estágio em edição realizado na Biblioteca Municipal Rocha Peixoto

Abstract

O presente relatório descreve e elabora uma abordagem crítica ao trabalho que realizei no Estágio em Edição na Biblioteca Municipal Rocha Peixoto (Póvoa de Varzim), no âmbito do 2.º ano do Mestrado em Estudos Editoriais, de dezembro de 2011 a abril de 2012. O trabalho aqui relatado centra-se fundamentalmente no apoio aos projetos editoriais relacionados com a efeméride dos 130 anos do nascimento de António dos Santos Graça. Descreve também o funcionamento do Serviço Editorial da Biblioteca Municipal Rocha Peixoto, o principal organismo municipal de promoção do livro e da leitura.

The following internship report describes and elaborates a critical approach to the work that I performed in the Publishing Division of the Biblioteca Municipal Rocha Peixoto (Póvoa de Varzim), in my 2nd year in the Mestrado em Estudos Editoriais of the Universidade de Aveiro, from December 2011 throughout April 2012. The work reported here focuses mainly on the support given in publishing projects related to the celebration of the 130 years of the birth of António dos Santos Graça. It also describes how the Publishing Division in the Biblioteca Municipal Rocha Peixoto operates, the Council's main institution for book and reading promotion.
