Museu virtual da Cidade Velha

Abstract

Na actual sociedade da informação, a internet tem-se afirmando enquanto ferramenta de comunicação e fonte de informação, tornando importante que as mais variadas instituições marquem presença neste mundo digital online. Neste contexto, os museus têm vindo a adoptar estas ferramentas na sua relação com os públicos, sendo importante o conhecimento da realidade internacional. Assim, o presente trabalho de investigação teve por objectivos a determinação tanto dos conteúdos disponibilizados pelos museus virtuais como das ferramentas disponíveis para o desenvolvimento do Museu Virtual da Cidade Velha. Para tal, foi feita uma análise de alguns museus virtuais existentes que foram importantes para as tomadas de decisão durante o desenvolvimento do Museu da Cidade Velha. No que respeita aos conteúdos disponibilizados nos museus analisados podemos concluir que estes oferecem, sobretudo, informações de apresentação do museu, sobre colecções, exposições físicas e trabalhos de serviços educativos, sendo essa a forma de comunicação privilegiada em termos de internet. Realizou-se ainda, uma fundamentação teórica acerca dos principais conceitos relativos a museu virtual. Também foi feito um estudo sobre as tecnologias de implementação Web nomeadamente o Joomla e o DNN. Das conclusões tiradas com base nas análises, foi feito uma implementação de um protótipo para o Museu Virtual da Cidade Velha que poderá ser acessível através da Web.

In the society today the information, the internet has being affirmed while communication tool and source of information, turning important that the most varied institutions mark presence in this world digital online. In this context, the museums have been coming the choice these tools in his/her relationship with the publics, being important the knowledge of the international reality. Like this, the present investigation work had important oh determination so much of the contents avaliable for the virtual museums as of the available tools for the development of the Virtual Museum of the Cidade Velha. For such, it was made an analysis of some existent virtual museums that you/they were important for the sockets of decision during the development of the Museum of the Cidade Velha. In what it respects to the contents disponibility in the analyzed museums can conclude that these offer, above all, information of presentation of the museum, physical exhibitions and works of educational services, being that the form of privileged communication in internet terms. He/she still took place, a theoretical to base concerning the main relative concepts to virtual museum. It was also made namely a study on the technologies of implementation Web Joomla and DNN. Of the conclusions removed with base in the analyses, it was made an implementation of a prototype for the Virtual museum of the Cidade Velha that can be accessible through the Web.
