Inclusão de alunos com currículo específico individual no 2º e 3º CEB

Abstract

A inclusão de alunos com Necessidades educativas especiais de caráter permanente (NEEP) é um tema atual e pertinente nas nossas escolas e sobre o qual existem ainda muitas dúvidas e diferentes respostas. Com a entrada em vigor do Decreto-Lei nº 3/2008, de 7 de Janeiro (DL3/08), algumas mudanças tiveram de ser feitas no que concerne à resposta a estes alunos. Do ponto de vista metodológico, o trabalho aqui relatado e analisado, visa abordar a temática da inclusão dos alunos que beneficiam da medida educativa currículo específico individual (CEI), nas várias áreas do plano curricular comum. Não sendo docente do agrupamento de Escolas onde se realizou o estudo, a função desempenhada pela investigadora/estagiária foi de “amigo crítico”, oferecendo um apoio externo e um trabalho de parceria. O presente trabalho beneficiou de técnicas de recolha de informação, como sejam, observação participante; entrevista para recolha de dados descritivos na linguagem do próprio sujeito; análise documental de materiais escritos passíveis de serem utilizados como fonte de informação; conversas informais; diário de campo com registo das observações diretas e participantes efetuadas. Fez-se ainda uma revisão da literatura abordando o papel desempenhado pelo “amigo crítico”, o conceito de currículo e a temática da inclusão. Com os resultados deste projeto, pretende-se estimular a reflexão crítica sobre a resposta que muitas escolas estão a dar aos alunos com NEEP, particularmente aqueles que beneficiam da medida educativa CEI. O corte de áreas do plano curricular comum que se verifica em muitas escolas, aquando da transição dos alunos do 1º para o 2º ciclo, poderá não ser a resposta mais adequada. A frequência das várias áreas do plano curricular comum poderá ser uma mais-valia, como veremos neste estudo.

The inclusion of students with permanent special educational needs (PSEN) is a current theme and relevant in our schools and on which there are still many questions and different answers. With the entry into force of Decree-Law No. 3 / 2008 of 7 January (DL3/08), some changes had to be made regarding the response to these students. From the methodological point of view, the work here reported and analyzed aims to address the issue of inclusion of students who benefit from the educational measure individual specific curriculum (ISC), in several common areas of the curriculum. Do not be teaching the group of schools where the study was conducted, the role played by the researcher / trainee was "critical friend", offering an external support and a working partnership. This work benefited from techniques for gathering information such as participant observation, interviews to collect descriptive data on the subject's own language, document analysis of written materials that can be used as a source of information, informal conversations, field journal to record from direct observations and participants made. He is also a review of the literature addressing the role of "critical friend", the concept of curriculum and the theme of inclusion. The results of this project is intended to stimulate critical reflection on the response that many schools are providing students with PSEN, particularly those who benefit from an educational measure ISC. The court of common areas of the curriculum that exists in many schools in the transition of students from the 1st to the 2nd cycle may not be the most appropriate response. The frequency of several common areas of the curriculum can be an asset, as discussed in this study.
