Responsabilidade social empresarial na Câmara Municipal de Abrantes

Abstract

Tem havido um interesse crescente relativo ao desenvolvimento da responsabilidade social. Em relativamente pouco tempo, o termo responsabilidade social passou de dispensável a essencial, e hoje em dia é encarada quase como obrigatória. Posto isto, é fundamental focalizar esforços e promover mecanismos que estruturem uma acção concertada entre as várias forças sociais, e desde que se instale uma cultura de cooperação na prevenção e resolução dos problemas, este tipo de atitudes e práticas vão levar a acções tangíveis, resultando numa influência positiva nas populações e organizações. Este meu primeiro contacto com a realidade autárquica através do estágio curricular no Departamento de Acção Social da Câmara Municipal de Abrantes e do trabalho desenvolvido com a realidade empresarial, centrado na área da responsabilidade social, permitiu-me entender o funcionamento real das actividades de uma autarquia, nomeadamente no âmbito da Rede Social e de uma diversidade de actividades ligadas ao Ano Europeu do Combate à Pobreza e Exclusão Social. Através de um contacto privilegiado com a Rede Social, efectuaram-se diversas tarefas de apoio à articulação e concertação de esforços com os parceiros, nomeadamente no desenvolvimento de suportes de partilha e acesso de informação e no reconhecimento de complementaridades, potenciando a comunicação entre eles, e por conseguinte dinamizando o processo da Rede Social, cuja finalidade visa o desenvolvimento local. Integrados no Ano Europeu do Combate à Pobreza e Exclusão Social é destacada a realização e participação em dois workshops e no espaço social integrado nas festas cidade. Considerando estas duas abrangentes matérias de trabalho como fundamento, a Rede Social e o Ano Europeu do Combate à Pobreza e Exclusão Social, as actividades realizadas neste âmbito permitiram igualmente complementar conhecimentos importantes que contribuíram para o desenvolvimento do estudo empírico, onde foi recolhido um conjunto de elementos obtidos para a construção de um futuro plano de responsabilidade social a nível do município e de um eventual modelo da Rede Social com orientação para a responsabilidade social.

There has been a growing interest on the development of social responsibility. In a relatively short time, the term social responsibility has gone from essentially dispensable, and today is regarded as almost mandatory. This makes it crucial to focus efforts and promote mechanisms that structure a concerted action among the various social forces and provided them to install a culture of cooperation in preventing and resolving problems, such attitudes and practices will lead to tangible actions, resulting on a positive influence on people and organizations. This my first contact with reality through the municipal traineeship at the Department of Social Welfare of the Municipality of Abrantes, and working with business reality, centered in the area of social responsibility, has enabled me to understand the actual functioning of the activities of a municipality , in particular within the Social Network and a variety of activities related to the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion. Through close contact with a social network, were carried out various tasks in support of joint and concerted effort with partners, particularly in the development of media access and sharing of information and recognition of complementarities, enhancing communication between them, and thus streamlining the process of the Social Network, whose purpose is to develop the site. Integrated in the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion is the outstanding achievement and participation in two workshops and space integrated into the social party town. Given these two broad subjects as the foundation work, the Social Network and the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, the activities in this area have also allowed important additional knowledge that contributed to the development of the empirical study, where he collected a set of elements obtained for the construction of a future plan of social responsibility at the county and a possible model for Social Networking with guidance on social responsibility.
