A influência da tecnologia no mundo empresarial

Abstract

O presente trabalho consiste em investigar a influência das tecnologias no mundo empresarial. Com base na revisão de literatura e na metodologia de investigação adotada, pretende-se explorar a importância e o contributo das tecnologias, bem como as questões éticas associadas à mesma. O estudo examina como a tecnologia se tornou um alicerce essencial para a eficiência, produtividade e competitividade das empresas modernas. Além disso, ao explorar o contributo das tecnologias, a pesquisa procura entender como essas inovações impulsionam o crescimento e a expansão dos negócios. No que diz respeito à influência tecnológica, a investigação visa analisar de que forma a adoção de tecnologias impacta a dinâmica do mercado e a estrutura das empresas. Em relação às questões éticas, a pesquisa aborda as preocupações em relação à cibersegurança, à privacidade dos dados, à inteligência artificial e ao seu potencial risco de substituir mão de obra humana, ao uso responsável das tecnologias e outros desafios éticos que surgem na interseção entre a tecnologia e os negócios, como a crescente automatização dos processos de trabalho. Esta pesquisa levanta assim considerações que são fundamentais para a tomada de decisões empresariais responsáveis, ao destacar desafios éticos e potenciais impactos negativos dessas tecnologias. Sobre as possíveis soluções, o estudo procura identificar abordagens e estratégias que as empresas podem adotar para mitigar riscos, enfrentar desafios éticos e aproveitar plenamente o potencial das tecnologias no ambiente empresarial. A informação recolhida na revisão de literatura e as 111 respostas obtidas no inquérito encontram-se em sintonia na análise dos dados. Além do valor prático, a dissertação contribui para o corpo de conhecimento académico ao aprofundar a compreensão das implicações tecnológicas no mundo empresarial, fornecendo conhecimentos práticos e teóricos que podem ser de grande utilidade para empresas e investigadores, como estratégias de proteção de dados e privacidade, gestão da mudança em tempos de automatização, melhores práticas para comunicação em redes sociais, preparação e proteção para problemas de cibersegurança, entre outros. As conclusões deste estudo oferecem orientações valiosas para futuros trabalhos académicos, que procurem expandir a compreensão entre a relação empresarial e a tecnológica. Teoricamente, contribui para a compreensão das implicações tecnológicas no mundo empresarial, preenchendo lacunas no conhecimento e fornecendo uma base sólida para futuras investigações.

This work aims to investigate the influence of technology in the business world. Based on the literature review and the research methodology adopted, the aim is to explore the importance and contribution of technology, as well as the ethical issues associated with it. The study examines how technology has become an essential foundation for the efficiency, productivity and competitiveness of modern companies. Furthermore, by exploring the contribution of technologies, the research seeks to understand how these innovations drive business growth and expansion. With regard to technological influence, the research aims to analyse how the adoption of technologies impacts market dynamics and company structure. With regard to ethical issues, the research addresses concerns about cybersecurity, data privacy, artificial intelligence and its potential risk of replacing human labour, the responsible use of technologies and other ethical challenges that arise at the intersection of technology and business, such as the increasing automation of work processes. This research thus raises considerations that are fundamental to responsible business decision-making, by highlighting ethical challenges and the potential negative impacts of these technologies. Regarding possible solutions, the study seeks to identify approaches and strategies that companies can adopt to mitigate risks, address ethical challenges and fully utilise the potential of technologies in the business environment. The information gathered in the literature review and the 111 responses obtained in the survey are in harmony when analysing the data. In addition to its practical value, the dissertation contributes to the body of academic knowledge by deepening the understanding of technological implications in the business world, providing practical and theoretical knowledge that can be of great use to companies and researchers, such as data protection and privacy strategies, change management in times of automation, best practices for communication on social networks, preparation and protection for cybersecurity problems, among others. The conclusions of this study offer valuable guidelines for future academic work that seeks to expand understanding between the business and technology relationship. Theoretically, it contributes to the understanding of technological implications in the business world, filling gaps in knowledge and providing a solid basis for future research.
