sibilitar o script a ler e escrever dados no PLC.
The internship at Renault Cacia was aimed at developing a solution based on the principles of Industry 4.0. This solution sought to eliminate the use of paper and optimise the process of calibrating temperature sensors. A system was developed based on a HMI, a PLC, a server with a script, data storage in the cloud and an employee identification system. Two solutions were developed and tested for the identification system. The first with a USB RFID reader connected directly to the HMI and the second with two Arduino devices and an RFID reader communicating with the PLC. Both solutions achieved their objectives, but the solution with the USB RFID reader proved to be more effective. Communication protocols such as Profinet were used for interaction with the PLC by the HMI and Arduino, SPI between Arduino and RFID reader, HTTP for communication with the database and OPC UA to enable the script to read and write data to the PLC. It was possible to successfully test the system with the USB RFID reader on the shop floor and also to run the developed scirpt on the company’s server. |
