Abstract: In this paper, a Lyapunov-type inequality is obtained for a class of fractional boundary value problems involving Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative of orders α ∈ (1, 2) and β ∈ (0, α − 1). The study is based on the construction of a Green’s function and the obtaining of its corresponding maximum value.
