Os estudos no ensino do piano em Portugal e a sua relevância nos programas curriculares

Abstract

Com o presente trabalho proponho-me a analisar a importância que os Programas Curriculares têm para os professores de piano ao longo do ano letivo. Saber escolher os estudos mais adequados para cada aluno é uma tarefa bastante exigente e são muitos os fatores a ter em conta no momento dessa decisão. Acresce o facto de que existem vários Programas nas diferentes instituições de ensino artístico que nem sempre são consensuais no que toca às sugestões de repertório. Há uma linha de pensamento que nem sempre é linear nas escolas em Portugal. Tentarei perceber as opiniões e pontos de vista dos professores em relação a este problema, e tirar conclusões que julgo virem a ser académica e pedagogicamente relevantes. Para além do projeto de investigação, o presente trabalho inclui também, na segunda parte, o Relatório da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES).

With this research, it is my goal to analyze and evaluate the importance of syllabi in the professional careers of piano teachers throughout each academic year. Choosing the most suitable piano études for each student is a very hard and demanding task, and there are many factors one must consider. There are various syllabi that are not always consensual and, therefore, there is not a linear way of thinking across all of the teaching staff in Portuguese schools. I will thus try to comprehend teachers’ opinions regarding this matter and come up with conclusions I feel will be of academic and pedagogical relevance. In addition to this investigation and research, the second part of the present work includes the Supervised Teaching Practice Report.
