Compreensão musical: contributos para a sua abordagem no processo de ensino e aprendizagem

Abstract

Este documento é o Relatório da UC de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino de Música da Universidade de Aveiro. Encontra-se dividido em duas partes: Projeto Educativo e Prática de Ensino. A primeira parte trata-se de uma reflexão e pesquisa com a finalidade de encontrar caminhos informados sobre o significado teórico e prático da compreensão musical e assim contribuir para o aperfeiçoamento do ensino e aprendizagem, sua reflexão e ação educativa. São seus objetivos específicos: [1] procurar em literatura atualmente relevante e disponível no domínio da música e educação, conceitos e teorias em torno da compreensão musical; [2] cruzar e complementar o debate com constructos igualmente relevantes, oriundos da psicologia da educação, de forma a enriquecer e alargar a sua análise, caracterização e alcance; [3] refletir como diferentes conceções de compreensão correspondem a diferentes visões de literacia, ou seja, a diferentes modos de definir o que é saber música, sobretudo o que é valorado como primordial para esse saber; [4] indagar de que forma profissionais atualmente no terreno se sintonizam ou não com os conceitos, teorias e problemáticas analisados; [5] conhecer, pela sua voz ou ação, exemplos de ações concretas aplicados e aferidos pelos mesmos, analisando, discutindo e caracterizando o seu significado pedagógico à luz dos conceitos debatidos. Na segunda parte da dissertação será apresentada a Prática de Ensino realizada na classe de trombone do Conservatório de Música do Porto, no ano letivo 2020/2021, tendo como orientador cooperante o prof. Alcides Paiva.

This work is the Report of UC Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Aveiro. It is divided in two parts: Educational Project and Teaching Practice. The first part is about reflection and research with the purpose of finding informed paths about the theoretical and practical meaning of musical understanding and thus contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning, its reflection and educational action. The specific objectives are: [1] to search in currently relevant and available literature in the field of music and education, concepts and theories around musical understanding; [2] to cross and complement the debate with equally relevant constructs, coming from educational psychology, in order to enrich and extend its analysis, characterization and scope. [3] to reflect how different conceptions of understanding correspond to different visions of literacy, that is, to different ways of defining what it is to know music, and what is valued as paramount to that knowledge. [4] to inquire how professionals currently in the field are attuned or not to the concepts, theories and problematics analysed; [5] to know, through their voice or action, examples of concrete actions applied and measured by them, analysing, discussing and characterizing their pedagogical meaning in the light of the concepts discussed. The second part of the dissertation will present the Report of the Teaching Practice, carried out in the trombone class of the Conservatório de Música do Porto, in the school year 2020/2021, having as cooperating supervisor the teacher Alcides Paiva.
