Abstract: | O presente trabalho resultou da vivência experimentada enquanto responsável pelo departamento deeducação ambiental de um zoo. Para realizarmos uma proposta estratégica educativa teríamos que partir do conhecimentoque temos daqueles que são os visitantes do empreendimento. Nesse sentido, realizámos um total de oitenta e cincoinquéritos baseados num método e amostragem por conveniência. O que não nos permitiu retirar conclusões ouextrapolações para além da população inquirida, mas deu-nos condições para evidenciar necessidades sentidas e possíveissoluções ao nível do departamento educativo do referido empreendimento, nomeadamente na escolha de actividades deinterpretação e animação ambiental. The present work resulted from the knowledge acquired when directing the environmental education department of a zoo. To design a strategic educational proposal, we would have to begin from the knowledge of the visitors’ profile. For this reason we carried a total of eighty five surveys based on a method of sampling by convenience.This did not provided us with the possibility of concluding beyond the inquired population, but gave us the conditions to understand the visitors’ necessities and to conclude about possible solutions to the educational department, by organizing priority activities of interpretation and environmental animation. |
