Sol de Inverno: projeto editorial de autopublicação de um livro de crónicas

Abstract

O presente relatório propõe-se a apresentar a construção do projeto editorial de um livro de crónicas a que se deu o título Sol de Inverno. A obra é composta pela reunião de crónicas publicadas pela autora no jornal regional brasileiro A Tribuna durante os anos de 2020 e 2022, período no qual esteve em Portugal para cursar o Mestrado em Estudos Editoriais pela Universidade de Aveiro. Os textos têm como tema central os desafios do cotidiano de uma estudante-imigrante brasileira em terras lusitanas; desde o estranhamento inicial das inúmeras facetas da língua materna à descoberta de uma cultura rica em complexidade, diversidade e (con)tradições que, por fim, aproximam Portugal do Brasil. Neste projeto editorial apresenta-se a memória descritiva, a metodologia adotada e uma proposta de design editorial do miolo e da capa.

This report aims to present the construction of the editorial project of a book that was given the title Sol de inverno (Winter sunshine). The work is composed by the collection of chronicles published by the author in the regional Brazilian newspaper A Tribuna during the years 2020 and 2022, period in which she was in Portugal to study for a Master's Degree in Editorial Studies at the University of Aveiro. The texts have as their central theme the challenges of the daily life of a Brazilian student-immigrant in Lusitanian lands; from the initial strangeness of the numerous facets of the mother language to the discovery of a culture rich in complexity, diversity and (con)traditions that ultimately bring Portugal and Brazil closer together. This editorial project presents the descriptive memory, the methodology adopted and a proposal for the editorial design of the inside and the cover.
