A condição social da mulher moçambicana em Niketche, de Paulina Chiziane, e em Mar me quer, de Mia Couto

Abstract

Nesta dissertação, pretendo estudar a condição social da mulher moçambicana, a partir das obras Niketche e Mar me quer, escritas respetivamente por Paulina Chiziane e Mia Couto. O estudo divide-se em cinco partes. Na primeira e segunda partes, abordo a questão complexa da condição social da mulher em Moçambique, dando conta das diferentes tentativas para resolver o problema. Esta abordagem serve de mote para o estudo do mesmo tema nas obras acima referidas. Termino com um estudo comparativo das duas obras literárias.

In this dissertation, I would like to study the social condition of Mozambican women from Niketche and Mar me quer, which are written respectively by Paulina Chiziane and Mia Couto. The study is divided into five parts. In the first and second parts, I talk about the complex issue of the social condition of women in Mozambique, and also some different attempts to solve the problem. This approach serves as the motto for the study of the same theme in the two works mentioned above. Finally, I conclude with a comparative study of the two literary works.
