aprendizagem do Inglês.
Em termos metodológicos, desenvolvemos um trabalho de
tipo investigação, tendo implementado as atividades numa
turma do 3.º ano de inglês curricular. O projeto procurou
This report that I present comes within the scope of carrying out the Curricular Unit of Practice in Teaching English, as part of the Master's course in Teaching English in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. In this report. I intend to base what was my internship in this teaching cycle, presenting and reflecting on some teaching-learning activities carried out. There are certainly several strategies to support students in their learning development. This project features only one, the game. Thus, in this playful activity, the student is active and engaged, putting their abilities to the test, often facing their fears, learning through fun, novelty, making the game a relevant and motivating educational resource in English learning. In methodological terms, we developed an investigation type work, having implemented the activities in a 3rd year class of English curriculum. The project effectively sought to collect data on how children saw the game as an English teaching-learning strategy, reflecting on its effectiveness. Data collection was carried out through surveys and self-assessments. Despite the reduced time of action, I believe that the results obtained in this project are positive and clarifying the success of this teaching resource. This research-action project sought, in a certain way, to contest some arguments that are against the game as a teaching tool, always presenting evidence in the use of play in education, namely in the English language. |
