Diante da lei está uma editora: o mundo do livro jurídico na Almedina

Abstract

Desde o início das sociedades que houve a necessidade de as leis serem escritas, a fim de poderem ser cumpridas por todos os cidadãos. Com o evoluir do tempo e do Direito, a edição jurídica vai ganhar balanço, não só no que diz respeito à simples publicação dos diplomas legais, como também se passará a dedicar a textos que interpretam a lei, escritos por especialistas. O estágio a que este relatório diz respeito foi realizado na maior editora jurídica em Portugal, Almedina, pretende a descrever o caminho percorrido pelo livro jurídico desde que chega para avaliação até que sai para o mercado.

Since the beginning of societies, there is a need for laws to be written in order to be fulfilled by all citizens. With the evolution of time and of Law, the law publishing will gain importance not only with regard to the simple publication of legal diplomas, but also will be dedicated to texts that interpret the law, written by specialists. The internship o which this report refers was carried out at the largest legal publisher in Portugal, Almedina, and will describe the path taken by the legal book from its arrival for evaluation until it leaves to the market.
