Melhoria do fluxo logístico de receção num armazém

Abstract

O presente trabalho é relativo ao projeto elaborado numa empresa do sector de sistemas de segurança e comunicação, alarmes de incêndio e displays eletrónicos, localizada no distrito de Aveiro. O projeto teve como objetivo melhorar o fluxo logístico de receção de material no armazém. Inicialmente foram encontradas demasiadas filas de espera na receção e Throughput Times elevados. A metodologia utilizada na resolução destes problemas, foi um estudo de caso, onde através do balanceamento dos postos de trabalho, com auxílio de um software de simulação industrial (Arena®) e alterando o layout existente, foi possível tornar as filas de espera residuais, diminuindo, por isso, os Throughput Times. Para além disso, as mudanças no layout permitiram também melhorias ao nível ergonómico e também uma maior organização (5 S’s) nos postos de trabalho, provocando desta forma impacto positivos nas condições de trabalho dos colaboradores. Todo este projeto trouxe poupanças consideráveis para a empresa em termos de custos operacionais, assim como uma maior capacidade para rececionar mais material, sem que seja necessário um maior investimento.

The present work is related to the project developed in a company of security and communication systems, fire alarms and electronic displays sector, located in the district of Aveiro. The project aimed to improve the logistics flow of material reception in the warehouse. Initially there were too many queues at reception and high Throughput Times. The methodology used to solve these problems was a case study, where by balancing the workstations, with the help of an industrial simulation software (Arena®) and changing the existing layout, it was possible to make the queues residual, thus reducing Throughput Times. Furthermore, the changes in the layout also allowed improvements at the ergonomic level and greater organization (5 S's) at the workstations, thus having a positive impact on the employees' working conditions. This whole project brought considerable savings for the company in terms of operational costs, as well as a greater capacity to receive more material, without the need for further investment.
