Improvisação: o desenvolvimento de competências e a motivação

Abstract

O presente documento diz respeito ao trabalho desenvolvido em Prática de Ensino Supervisionada e projeto de investigação inseridos no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino da Música. O projeto de investigação trata um estudo de caso, tendo por base uma investigação-ação, sobre os efeitos da improvisação no desenvolvimento de competências e na motivação. A recolha de dados foi feita por entrevistas, para os dois alunos com os quais foram desenvolvidas as atividades e foram posteriormente realizados questionários a discentes e docentes de viola de arco para perceber a aplicabilidade da improvisação como ferramenta pedagógica. Os resultados foram mais claros relativamente ao desenvolvimento de competências e, portanto, dadas as limitações do estudo, a temática da motivação necessitaria de um estudo mais abrangente.

The present document concerns the work developed at Supervised Teaching Practice and the investigation project that is part of the Masters in Music Education. The investigation research project deals with a case study, based on an action research, examining the effects of improvisation in motivation and the development of skills. The results were obtained through interviews for the two students that took part in the activities proposed and surveys were later applied to students and teachers of viola to understand the application of improvisation as a pedagogical tool. The results were clearer for the development of skills and considering the limitations of the study, the theme of motivation would need a more in-depth study.
