Poética visual da dor: experiência sensível com o mar e o ferro

Abstract

A presente dissertação enquadra-se no campo das Poéticas Visuais e estrutura-se a partir de uma investigação de caráter teórico-prática. Através das dimensões experimental, reflexiva e processual/estrutural, busca pelo meio da criação imagética produzir uma experiência visual da dor com base em uma autorreflexão de si. Através de uma experiência que inter-relaciona os elementos Mar e Ferro, surge a Ferrugem que, dentro desta investigação, é vista como uma matéria alegórica que atravessa as componentes teórica e prática do trabalho. Tal experiência tem o objetivo de refletir sobre as potências da Imagem como instrumento de múltiplas possibilidades de expressão de si no cenário artístico. O projeto estabelece aproximações com pensamentos de filósofos e artistas que dialogam, tanto a nível prático como reflexivo, com uma busca de metamorfosear a dor através da arte, criando assim uma perspetiva marcadamente subjetiva.

A Memória, o Mar e o Ferro estruturam-se como temas-chave do processo da investigação e conduz a relação entre Imagem e Dor. Durante o processo de criação, o Tempo revela-se como aspeto determinante para a impressão dessa dor visual.

This dissertation fits into the field of Visual Poetics and is structured based on a theoretical-practical investigation. Through the experimental, reflective and procedural / structural dimensions, he seeks the means of creating imagery to produce a visual experience of pain based on self-reflection. Through an experience that interrelates the elements Sea and Iron, the rust appears, which, within this investigation, is seen as an allegorical material that crosses the theoretical and practical components of the work. This experience has the objective of reflecting on the powers of the Image as an instrument of multiple possibilities of self-expression in the artistic scene. The project establishes approaches with the thoughts of philosophers and artists who dialogue, both at a practical and reflective level, with a search to metamorphose pain through art, thus creating a markedly subjective perspective. Memory, Sea and Iron are structured as key themes in the research process and lead to the relationship between Image and Pain. During the creation process, Time reveals itself as a determining aspect for the impression of this visual pain.
