| pt_PT |
dc.description.abstract | Stroke is one of the most incident and fulminant diseases in the actual society. Therefore, being this is an acute phase disease where time is the key word to minimize brain sequels in the patients. Therefore, the national health system must continuously adapt and create tools that allow the fast and efficient treatment of acute patients and their proper referral since the stroke notice until the therapeutic administration. The stroke’s green pathway is a fast access pathway to a hospital prepared and capable to give response to a patient in a situation of suspected stroke. However, there still exist some problems in the information systems that lay to significative delays that make all the difference in the sequels of the patients as well as is the recovery time os the post stroke. In this context, the present dissertation aimed to specify an information system to support pre- and intra-hospital emergencies of patients in acute stroke situations. | pt_PT |
