Tradução, análise terminológica e desenvolvimento de ontologia no domínio da química

Abstract

O presente Projeto resulta da tradução de cinco artigos científicos, a par da extração da terminologia dos mesmos, sendo que ainda se criou e desenvolveu uma ontologia, respetivamente, no domínio da Química. Os objetivos do Projeto vigente centram-se na tradução dos artigos científicos, nas análises críticas posteriores, numa compilação terminológica relativa aos artigos em questão e igualmente numa ontologia didática e multifuncional, com múltiplas definições e elementos audiovisuais. A compilação terminológica e a ontologia didática visam facilitar a utilização e a compreensão dos textos, uma vez que contêm fundamentos que são cruciais para este domínio. O projeto é baseado e sustentado pelo seu enquadramento teórico.

This Project is the result of the translation of five scientific articles, along with the extraction of their terminology. An ontology has been created and developed in the field of Chemistry, based on the conceptual framework the texts comprise. The objectives of the current Project focus on the translation of the scientific articles, subsequent critical analysis, a terminological compilation relating to the articles in question and a didactic and multifunctional ontology, with multiple definitions and audiovisual elements. The terminological compilation and the didactic ontology aim to facilitate the use and understanding of the texts, as they contain fundaments that are crucial to this domain. The project recalls and is sustained by its theoretical framework.
