Recital visual: escutar com os olhos [instalação e performance: mulher’es]

Abstract

O projeto “Recital Visual: Escutar com os olhos” é o resultado de uma investigação guiada pela prática provocada por uma profunda paixão pela música e pela imagem (fotografia e vídeo). Procura perceber as intersecções entre som-música e imagem e conceber metaforicamente uma construção performativa que se situe na ombreira da porta destas artes, fazendo uso das possibilidades da tecnologia. Pretende-se criar repertórios de imagens associadas como composições em cinco peças, que funcionarão como um recital (visual) preformado – em temporeal. Cada peça terá três projeções diferentes em diálogo, sendo criados sob relações conceptuais com o conceito da Mulher e qual o papel da Mulher na arte e na vida em geral. É através da experienciação da construção da fisicalidade do espaço de projeção, da ligação entre as imagens, do ato de tocar o instrumento concebido para este efeito e a mulher-instrumento que foram abertos os caminhos de investigação que guiam este projeto até ao protótipo final: a performance do Recital Visual “Mulher’ES”.

The Project “Visual Recital: Listening with the eyes” is the result of one investigation guided by practice driven by a deep passion for music and image (photography and video). Seeks to understand the intersections between sound-music and image and metaphorically conceive one preformatic construction that stays on the threshold of these arts, making use of the possibilities of technology. Intends to create image repertoires associated as compositions, in five pieces, that will work as a performed (visual) recital – in real time. Each piece will have three different projections in dialogue, being created under the conceptual relations with the Woman concept and which is the paper of the Woman in art and in life in general. It’s through the experiment of the construction of the space projection physicality, of the connection between imagens, of the act of playing the instrument conceived to this effect and the woman-instrument that was open the investigation paths that guide this project to the final prototype: the Visual Recital: “MulherES” performance.
