Experiências de lazer dos estudantes chineses em Aveiro, Portugal

Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo geral desvelar as experiências de lazer dos alunos chineses de intercâmbio, na cidade de Aveiro/Portugal. Numa primeira parte, indicaremos a evolução da comunidade chinesa com ligações à língua portuguesa. Posteriormente, e a partir de um enquadramento teórico pré-estabelecido, são realizados inquéritos e entrevistas semiestruturadas com alunos chineses, vinculados à Universidade de Aveiro, cuja meta foi investigar sobre os seus principais interesses culturais no âmbito do lazer. Na sequência, foi apresentada a análise das estratégias metodológicas desenvolvidas pelo Instituto Confúcio da UA para a integração desses estudantes. De acordo com os resultados, percebemos que falta consciência à maior parte dos alunos chineses em como gerir bem os seus tempos livres, existindo poucas atividades de lazer.

This research aims to unveil the leisure experiences of chinese exchange students in the city of Aveiro/Portugal. In the first part, we will introduce the evolution of the chinese community with connections to the Portuguese language. Subsequently, and from a pre-established theoretical framework, we will conduct surveys and semistructured interviews on chinese students linked to the University of Aveiro. The final goal was to investigate their main cultural interests respecting leisure. Further on, the methodological strategies developed by the Confucius Institute of the UA regarding the integration of these students will be exposed and analyzed. According to the results, it can be seen that most of chinese students lose consciousness when using their free time, keeping few leisure activities.
