Lucas-Kanade. O método ROI Tracking permite observar a direção do movimento
O algoritmo Point-wise Tracking possibilita a seleção
terceiro método, Contour Tracking permite observar a direção do movimento
percorrido, deslocamento e altura e largura do contorno.
This dissertation aims to implement algorithms that allow the user to follow and quantify the displacement of nerve structures in response to a specific mobilization. The developed system consists on three different methods based on the Lucas-Kanade optical flow algorithm. The ROI Tracking method allows you to observe the motion direction of a region of interest in the form of a histogram and to quantify its traveled space. The Point-wise Tracking algorithm enables the selection of an arbitrary number of points, to follow its motion and to quantify in the form of a table with traveled space and displacement values. The third method Contour Tracking, allows to observe the direction of a contour’s movement in the form of a histogram, to quantify the traveled space and displacement values as well as its height and width. To validate the developed system, a dynamic ecographic study was performed on the median nerve of the right forearm at the middle third and carpal tunnel, resulting in videos that best characterized the mobilization of it. |
