Cultura do vinho na China e em Portugal: breve estudo comparativo

Abstract

O presente trabalho propõe-se analisar as principais diferenças culturais entre Portugal e China no setor vinícola. Esta dissertação está dividida em quatro capítulos. O primeiro capítulo apresenta a história do vinho nos dois países e enumera as várias qualidades de vinho. O segundo capítulo estabelece um paralelo entre as principais técnicas de produção vinícola de ambos os países. O terceiro capítulo foca-se nas tradições e ritos associados ao consumo de vinho pelas principais etnias chinesas e numa breve reflexão da influência desta bebida na poesia clássica chinesa. Por fim, o quarto capítulo analisa a presença do vinho nas várias formas de arte em Portugal, onde se evidencia a importância do vinho para o país, finalizando com a propaganda do Estado Novo ao consumo de vinho e o posterior surgimento de confrarias que estimulam as tradições relacionadas com a produção e o consumo de vinho

The present work analyses the main cultural differences between Portugal and China, in the context of the wine-producing sector. This dissertation is divided in four chapters. The first chapter is based on the wine history between these two countries, as well as the enumeration of several wine qualities. The second chapter, establishes a parallel between the main differences of wine production in both countries. The third chapter, focuses essentially in the traditions and rites associated to the consumption of wine by the majority of Chinese ethnic, and a short reflection of the influence of this drink in the Chinese classic poetry. At last, the fourth chapter is based in the analysis of several forms of art in Portugal, which reflect the importance of Portuguese wine for cultural traditions, and the importance of the propaganda of the “Estado Novo” regime to the wine consumption, and the subsequent appearance of fraternities, which stimulate the traditions, in the wine producing field
